

Hitmaker is a South Korean variety television series created by producer duo Jeong Hyeong-don and Defconn. The show premiered on MBC Every1 on July 29, 2014, and aired two seasons through 2015, following the creation and debut of their project idol groups Big Byung and Chamsonyeo. After the initial two seasons, the franchise continued with Dony’s Hitmaker in 2016, hosted by Jeong Hyeong-don and Yong Jun-hyung, and later expanded into a 2017 spin-off titled Hitmaker – Cross Country.
The original title is "히트제조기" (KO).
