Life with Derek is a Canadian television sitcom that aired on Family and VRAK.TV in Canada and on Disney Channel in the United States. The series premiered on Family on September 18, 2005, and ran for four seasons, ending its run on March 25, 2009. The series starred Michael Seater and Ashley Leggat as the two oldest children in a stepfamily. It ended with 70 episodes and one spin-off television film, entitled Vacation with Derek.

Hallelujah! was a British sitcom made by Yorkshire Television for the ITV network and was broadcast from April 1983 to December 1984. The series was set in a Salvation Army citadel in the fictional Yorkshire town of Brigthorpe during series 1. Captain Emily Ridley has been posted there, having been an active member of the Salvation Army for 42 years. Despite the town and residents being seemingly pleasant, Emily is determined to flush out sin from behind the net curtains. Assisting Emily are her niece Alice Meredith. The programme was a repeat collaboration between Hird and the creator Dick Sharples, having worked together on the comedy series In Loving Memory between 1979 and 1986. The show even featured guest appearances from guest stars like Hird's Last of the Summer Wine co-star actor Michael Aldridge and television presenter & Countdown Legend Richard Whiteley Himself.

Now in his second year, his friends push him to speak with his classmates whom he has yet to speak to, but this was still difficult for Haru due to his clumsy nature. One afternoon, his life met with a 180° turn during a strange encounter in the hallways of Hoshigaoka School. During that fateful encounter, he accidentally drank a magical potion which makes him transform into a stuffed animal sheep during the night! Haru later learns that in order to return to his original self, he needs to collect "star droplets" that fall from the sky. However, being that his innards are now made of cotton, he will need the help of a "special person." Little did he know that the special person was someone from his class. Living a double life between his day-self and his sheep form "Yuki-chan," page one of his story, her story, and the story of nanatsuiro drops begins...
