A national edition screens from Monday to Thursday, produced at the ABN studios in Ultimo, Sydney and hosted by Leigh Sales. A local edition with a focus on state affairs screens on Fridays. However, when a big state political event happens, the national program can be pre-empted by the local edition. The program first screened on 7 March 2011, replacing both The 7.30 Report and Stateline.
