Walter D'Ávila (Porto Alegre, November 29, 1911 – Rio de Janeiro, April 19, 1996) was a Brazilian actor and comedian.
He started in theater and debuted on Rádio Sociedade Gaúcha in Porto Alegre in 1952. He went to television in 1957 on TV Rio and achieved success on the program "Praça da Alegria", commanded by Manuel de Nóbrega on TV Record as "O Sinfronio", a man who read the books changing the sound or accentuation of the words giving them other meanings usually completely wrong.
