Travis Quentin Young was born and raised on the bayou in Westlake, Louisiana. At 10 years old he made his television debut on Ed McMahon's Star Search (1983) singing country music. From there he went on to tour a one-man show while honing his acting chops on stage in theaters around Louisiana.
After formally studying music and theater (Berklee College of Music/McNeese State University) Travis made the move to Los Angeles.
