Mitja Okorn

An economist by training, a director by passion, and a film buff. In 2001, his first short film, "Be Flexible," won him an award at the Motovun Festival in Croatia, among others. Three years later, his feature debut, "Tu pa tam" (Here and There), made on a near-zero budget, became a huge hit in Slovenia, gained wide distribution, and was screened at numerous European film festivals.
