María Galiana was born on May 31, 1935 in Seville, Seville, Andalucía, Spain. She is an actress, known for Cuéntame cómo pasó (2001), Solas (1999) and Tapas (2005). She was previously married to Rafael. She worked many years as a teacher in a public high school. She began her career as an actress in the 80s, when she was 50 years old. She won the 1999 Goya Award for Best Supporting Actress for her portrayal of the mother in Solas.
