Bahy is a filmmaker with a personal perspective, raised between the worlds of art, music, and literature in an Egyptian family that broadened his horizons toward deep philosophical questions, yet anchored him to his Egyptian roots, thoughts, and traditions.
Having built a strong education and foundation in graphic design, photography, and cinema, he was trained — both intentionally and unintentionally — to see the world through his own lens, and in his own taste, learning to capture moments through eyes that are native and original, yet open to contradiction and complexity.
