On a rugged island off the coast of Madagascar, the paths of two souls searching for meaning cross. Macha, originally from Belgium, seeks refuge with her mother, while Franco, born on the island, returns to his roots. As their personal stories intertwine, the island—imbued with mysticism—reveals the maternal and ambiguous power of water, which can be both nurturing and overwhelming.
