Overview

Molly Mayer, a celebrated marriage counselor in her forties, is hit with a surprise divorce from her husband and finds her life and practice unraveling. But when her despair leads to a drunken tryst with a patient that yields surprisingly therapeutic results, she finds herself in uncharted territory, risking her entire career and family in her conservative Texan community.
