Stranded by the COVID-19 lockdown in his native Philippines, trans horticulturalist Danny and his British Indian girlfriend Neisha are unwillingly outed to Danny's estranged family – who still thought Danny was a woman living in Toronto. Instead of the inevitable rejection he expects, he has no idea how to navigate the radical acceptance he finds.
