Mayumi's husband, Masashi, a former classmate, is busy working as a member of the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly. As the wife of a member of the assembly, Mayumi is also preparing for the upcoming election. One day, the two attend a high school reunion for the first time in a long while, where they are reunited with Kondo, the school's star, who was intelligent and had excellent athletic ability.
